FROM CHELMSFORD
Take the A1060 signed Sawbridgeworth & Roxwell (Rainsford
Road by Lancaster/Jeep showroom) for approximately 8 miles (10-15
minutes). At the mini roundabout at Leaden Roding turn left
and after approx. 1 mile turn left onto the B184 signed Fyfield & Ongar. Follow
road for further 1.5 miles and The Room in the Rodings is situated
on the left.
FROM IPSWICH AND COLCHESTER
Take the A12 towards London and come off at the A120 at Marks
Tey, follow signs for Stansted Airport. Follow
the road for several miles until you come to Braintree. Stay
on the Braintree bypass, following signs for Bishops Stortford and Stansted Airport. Stay
on the A120 until you reach Great Dunmow. Leave
at 1st Dunmow exit signposted Chelmsford & Dunmow. At
bottom of slip road turn right at roundabout signposted Dunmow. Take
the next turning on the left, the B184, signposted Ongar & The
Rodings. Go up the hill, past the industrial area
and take the next turning, still the B184, and follow
this road through High Roding and Aythorpe
Roding until you come to a mini roundabout with a car dealer
and shop on left hand side. At this roundabout turn right and
after approx. 1 mile turn left onto the B184 signed Fyfield & Ongar. Follow
road for further 1.5 miles and The Room in the Rodings is situated
on the left.
FROM HARLOW, BISHOP’S STORTFORD
From Hatfield Heath keep on A1060 signed Leaden Roding and
Chelmsford. Turn right onto the B184 signposted
Fyfield & Ongar. Follow this road for further 1.5 miles
and The Room in The Rodings is situated on the left.
FROM LONDON AND BRENTWOOD
Come off A12, signposted Chelmsford, continue to the 1st roundabout
(Mason Too restaurant on your left). Take 2nd exit (Megabowl
Bowling Stadium on left) to next roundabout. Take 1st exit
into Westway through industrial area, straight over 1st and 2nd
set of traffic lights into Waterhouse Lane. Proceed down
Waterhouse Lane, passing the fire station (on right) to next series
of traffic lights. Remain in left hand lane and continue
over to next traffic lights (still in far left hand lane) past
the Lancaster/Jeep showroom. Bear left at these lights, following
the signs for the A1060 signed Sawbridgeworth & Roxwell (Rainsford
Road by Lancaster/Jeep showroom) for approximately 8 miles (10-15
minutes). At the mini roundabout at Leaden Roding turn left
and after approx. 1 mile turn left onto the B184 signed
Fyfield & Ongar. Follow road for further 1.5
miles and The Room in the Rodings is situated on the left.
FROM M11 (Junction 7)
Take the A414/Harlow exit and follow signs to Ongar (approximately
5-7 miles). At Four Wantz roundabout in Ongar take 1st exit,
signed Fyfield/B184. Keep on road for approximately
5-6 miles and The Room in the Rodings is situated on the right.
FROM M25 (Junction 27)
Follow signs for M11/Stansted and proceed as given in above directions.
DIRECTIONS FROM EPPING
Join the A414 at North Weald and proceed onto Ongar, then follow
directions from Ongar as above.
