2010 SPECIAL OFFER BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
(including The Meadow Pavilion, if applicable)
- The Room in the Rodings will be available to the hirer from 9.30am on the day of the wedding and we respectfully request that The Room in the Rodings be completely vacated by 1.00am. The bar is licensed until 12 midnight at which time the music must also cease.
- The booking and payment of the Registrar will be the sole responsibility of the Hirer and The Room in the Rodings accepts no responsibility for this.
- In the event of inclement weather the final decision regarding the use of The Meadow Pavilion for any civil ceremony is the sole responsibility of the Superintendent Registrar on duty. If the decision is not to use The Meadow Pavilion the ceremony will take place in The Room in the Rodings Ceremony Room and a full refund of The Meadow Pavilion charges will be made.
- A non-refundable deposit of £400 is required to secure the booking together with a fully completed booking form.
- The balance of the 2010 Special Offer charge (£3,170.00) will be payable by two stage payments of £1,585.00 each at 12 weeks and 2 weeks prior to the wedding. The final payment will include any additional guest payments (£30.00 per adult, children 0-4 yrs old free & 5-12 yrs old £15.00), and the balance of The Meadow Pavilion charge if applicable. VAT is not applicable for the hire of The Room in the Rodings and all other VAT and service charges are included in the price quoted.
- In the event of cancellation, notification must be given in writing by the hirer and confirmed in writing by The Room in the Rodings. However, in the event of a late cancellation (i.e. during the period of fourteen weeks prior to the booking) the first stage payment of £1,585.00 will be chargeable.
- Additional guest numbers must be confirmed by the hirer no less than three weeks prior to the booking. In the event of changes to final numbers the hirer will be charged for the numbers confirmed or actual attendance whichever is the greater. If necessary this will be invoiced after the event. No refund will be given if the final numbers are less than those originally confirmed.
- The Room in the Rodings will organise and supply all drinks for the reception and wedding breakfast. AFTER THE SPEECHES AND TOASTS ALL DRINKS MUST BE PURCHASED FROM THE ROOM IN THE RODINGS BAR WHICH IS STAFFED AND LICENSED UNTIL 12 MIDNIGHT.
- The Room in the Rodings will provide tables and chairs as required.
- The Room in the Rodings requests that bio-degradable confetti only is used in designated areas.
